product engineer · building product infrastructure

Hi, I'm Hasan Misbah.

I build the business-critical systems businesses can't afford to get wrong.

Since 2018, I've helped founders and product teams build licensing, subscriptions, payments, authentication, and backend infrastructure that keeps modern software products reliable, scalable, and ready to grow. Mostly Laravel and the WordPress plugin ecosystem, often on systems that were already live and could not be taken down to be fixed. The work I like most is the unglamorous kind: making the part that moves money boring, predictable, and safe for the next person to change.

In their words, not mine

I have been fortunate to work alongside founders, product teams and engineers over the years. Here is what some of them have to say.

He is very reliable and skilled developer. He is working on my project for more than 2 months, and I am very much impressed with his work. My plan was to hire 2 developers for my project, but after working with him I closed the position.

During these 2 months, I gave him several tasks ranging from moderate to difficult level, and he did his job very well. I usually assign him tasks at midnight and he delivers me before morning.

“Hasan Misbah is one of the best Developer I have ever worked with. I learned and got motivated to learn a lot of things from him. He’s a self-taught developer.”
Habib RahmanFrontend Engineer, Valt

I knew him for about 4 years, he is a multi-talented person. He developed my two websites with very nice designs. And he gave me about 10 other services.

Hasan Misbah is a really very nice and helpful man.

Ahmed SalehCo-founder, Leaders Tree

Sunny SahaSoftware Engineer, BrosAsia
“Hasan is a very good developer and highly skilled in Laravel and Vue.Js. While working with Hasan, I found him sincere, honest, time-engaged, and goal-oriented. His skills in Backend technologies are quite remarkable. Recommended.”

Ways to work together

I take on a small number of engagements alongside my own work, usually one of two shapes. I'm in GMT+6 and work async-first, so your timezone is never a reason not to reach out.

Speed

Tasks assigned at midnight, delivered before morning. That is a client's sentence from the section above, not a claim of mine.

Quality above all

The systems I am handed are usually already live. Quality is not a preference there, it is the difference between a normal Tuesday and a customer's worst one.

Built to scale

Scale is a set of specific problems rather than a word: what fans out per request, what runs in the queue, what falls over first. I have worked on support tooling at that volume.

Modern tech

Laravel, Vue, Nuxt, Cloudflare Workers, and AI in the loop where it earns its place. Modern where it helps, deliberately boring where the money moves.

I am a founder too

Client work is not all of it. I build and run my own products, so I have shipped, supported and maintained software rather than handing it over at launch and walking away.

Still here after launch

Launch is when the interesting failures start. I stay reachable, and I write down what I changed so the next person does not have to guess.
